It's both smart and legal to use the circle c symbol to protect your song. That's called a "common law copyright" and gives you protection. You can also get a fed'l copyright issued officially and registered with the Bureau of Patents in D.C. I'll bet you could find a site and download the form. Anyway, put the circle c symbol at the end of each song.

its only if u use someone elses cpyright its a copywrite because the person said it belongs to them u could face a crime example i have a patented game and u say u make the same game i could sue u because you took my on record patent wout my permission

copy rights are usually registered so record your song and put it in an envelope and mail it to yourself that way its legally postmarked and dont open it until you have a challenge
