Knowing that I have faith in the company and loving the product certainly helps. Having the knowledge and willingness to share about the company certainly helps as well. Also, enjoying your job and who you work with.

Well i worked my way up to a position I can live with in a company that has always had my back. What keeps me going when dealing with the public can make you pull your hair out? I focus on the people who make me smile or are worth while and not on the jerks. Also I've been in my current job 7 years and in customer service 12 years now so there isn't much I haven't seen and at one point I worked at the Walmart refund desk. After that stint it takes ALLOT to phase me. LOL

Now I work at a bank and as a financial adviser I have garnered a bit of respect from my clients.

well I am a cust service rep on the phone so i just try to be friendly and relate and try to be understanding even when someone is yelling at me, but respect is important
