ok firstly for all you guys who will leave rude comments, i don't have a moustache or anything!!! lol it is just a normal amount of lip hair for a chick, but the problem is i am brunette so the hair stands out a little. i don't want to shave it obviously, i also don't want to get it waxed as i am worried it will come back thicker and worse. and i don't want to have to keep going to get it waxed. i also don't want to have laser etc that costs money!! I was thinking about bleaching it? have you tried it? does it work? what did you use? i am freaked that something will go wrong and it will turn out bright white and stand out heaps!! where can you buy it from and is it specifically made for upper lip?? THANKS :o)

Sally Hansen makes a good cream bleach for facial hair. You just leave it on for a certain length of time (10-15 minutes) then wipe and clean it off. It shouldn't end up bright white. It will lighten your skin around your mouth for a day though. I'm a brunette girl too, so I know your dilemma.
Honestly, waxing at home is the easiest route. Gel wax, the no-heat kind, is the easiest to use. And rather than hair growing in coarser than ever, mine actually has become sparse as time's passed. I do it at home, at night, so the swelling is gone by morning. A little hydrocortisone cream fixes it right up. Either way, you'll feel better when you don't have to see it any more. Good luck!

Wax it there really is no other way. Not only is it safer, healthier etc but when you wear foundation even if it's been bleached it's still noticeable as the foundation gets caught in the hair particle's. (Being brunette the hair is slightly thicker then a blonde) Waxing will reduce hair regrowth and eventually cut it down so much you won't need to get it done at all. Bleaching is tricky and you could end up burning the skin underneath leaving it itchy and flaky as it heals.

It depends on how long your lip hair is, some people can bleach it and it will look fine, and then some people you can still notice the hairs because they are long.

You can try bleaching, and if you dont like it you can allways get it waxed.

You can buy it anywhere, drug stores, walmart, maybe grocery stores, I used jolen creme bleach.

It wont turn out bright white since you cant really bleach hair to really bright white lol, just follow the directions on the box.

There are bleaches out there. However when you bleach, you have to keep bleaching and then it gets too light. I had a friend who did that and it would have been easier on the eye to look at the darker hair. Research your alternatives before you do anything.

Many people prefer to make their body and facial hair less noticeable by bleaching.

Even if you could bleach it ... it would still BE there. Plus, you would have to continue to do it just like you have to continue to wax. I'd say wax is the best way to go! It does NOT grow back faster or thicker if you wax! Ha... they used to say that about shaving your legs!

Yes!!!! it works, and it doesnt look like peach fuzz, it looks normal. Like all pros say dont touch your face with a razor, because it comes out thicker and worse! Same with Waxing, it comes out thicker. When you bleach and it starts growing, it would be the same, and it lasts long too, and its less money!! I use Sally hansen. local drug stores.. keep strutin girl
