okay I'm a dancer (not booty dancin, I don't like booty dance like I can do it but I'm a classical ballet dancer) why do girls booty dance?
I know that guys like it but I mean it's just like being a stripper in private (or in public) it just seems dumb to me.
dance is supposed to be beautiful and graceful not gross I mean the name booty dance is like insulting every good dancer (not booty or strip) dancers specialy me!
you can complain but I would like an HONEST answer that actualy makes since!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just because something is not pleasing to you does not make it trash. If no one liked it, no one would be doing it. If you tried to put a question here about everything that people do that you do not agree with, you would probably spend the rest of your life here and still have questions. Do and enjoy what you like in life and don't concern yourself too much with the rest. The lack of tolerance and understanding in this world is what maintains us in a constant state of war and hate.

its just another form of dance, there is about a GAZZILLLLLIAN types of dance and not all of it is grace. thats wot ballet is about (i do ballet as well) hip hop ,belly dancing , street, jazz they are not about grace. i do agree wit ur opinion , but u r not a booty dancer so really it doesnt insult u or other forms of dance hope dis helps cyaz x

I think it is a relatively easy way of getting male attention. Booty dance is not hard to learn, but it really attracts their eyes. Many migh arguie that they dance like that all by themselves in their room when they feel like it. Yeah... sure... But what goes through their head is "I'm sexy" so yeah, it is about sex not so much about art. Whatever, let them do it if it makes them feel happier.
Like you, I'm into other dance forms not booty. :-)
