As if the page you are currently reading you wanted to have saved as a jpeg, how would you do that? I want to save what is being shown on my computer and I know it's a special function combination (like if you click ctrl+alt+delete to get the applications screen.) Thanks!

The Print Screen button on your keyboad, then paste into a document or Paint. Alt + PrintScreen captures just the active window.

Just hit the print screen button. This copies the screen image to your clipboard. Then open paint or some similar photo program and hit paste. Bamm.
