Succinct, and to the point. I've spent the last 5 years saying 'if he would just admit lack of troops was a mistake'. Well, he just did, much to the chagrin of liberals.

He just went right back to his scare tactits. It's kind of scary. I agree that this nation is safer because of the improvements after 9/11 but Bush is continuously going back to the scare tactic to get what he wants. I feel like Bush knows that he's messed this country up beyond belief, but for some reason he won't change his ways. The only reason we're in Iraq right now is because of the oil and he afraid (like we all should be) that an anti-American government will take over Iraq and not supply us with their oil. However, if Bush had but half the money he has invested in Iraq into serious developments of alternative energy and clean energy we wouldn't be in this big debacle that's crippling our country and causing us to lose favor in the world. This is the one reason why having Hilary in the White House in 08 wouldn't be half bad. She brings Bill with her, a man who brought many allies to the US, and she has the proven experience to lead this country. To be frank. we're all at fault for our involvement in Iraq. As we continue to use the oil at the local gas station we are indirectly making sure the US stays involved in Middle East issues. If we had half of the people in this country tell the government how we need alternative energy to oil from the Middle East our government would have no other choice than to respond and make sure that it happens and happens faster than at the current rate at which it is today.

Gift of the gab? Perhaps to a high school drop out. I don't think he is even speaking english and watching him give a speech is like watching a fat man walking out on thin ice; your afraid to look because you know he's going to sink.

I stopped listening after a couple of minutes.. I had to go throw up.. (his voice).. He did however, admit to being wrong about Iraq.. so wrong he's sending more troops in.. I am watching the news NOW and it's telling about a soldier that lived here that was killed yesterday.. Last week there were 3 soldiers who lived her that was injured (one lost his leg). They were all fighting a war that we should have stayed out of.. Bush is full of nothing but SHI-t..

Sorry, I must have listened to the wrong speech.

It's not how eloquent the words were laid out in his speech, it's the content and meaning of what he said in the speech.

For Christs sakes he's ready to provoke Iran! This president is intent on disrupting the energy supply to the whole world. If he can't have it. No one will.

I thought his speech was disjointed, He is still trying to make a connection between the war on terror and the war in Iraq that isn't there, Everyone knew what he was going to do weeks ago. The only message I got from his speech was don't sell your Halliburtion stock yet.

How many ears are you deaf in? I must admit tho.. as Bush speeches go, it was okay.. he only stumbled a couple times.. but as for content.. well it was full of " I take responsibility" but it's all Iraq's fault excuses Same old, same old, Bush.

He's in big trouble and he knows it.. he should be happy he is not in jail for war crimes.

The man is either clinically retarted, just trying to confuse the US public so he doesn't have to tell the truth about Iraq, or he honestly with utmost of blind faith, believes what he's saying is good & right (which is more freightening than being retarted)
