Atlantis refers to the 'pre-flood' civilazation when we were more knowledgeable, but we lost that....
Look at the aging of the Sphinx... That was done by water damage... not dry sandy desert air. When was there enough water to do that... 20,000 years ago, or during the flood.

Atlantis is supposed to be the mother of all civilizations here on earth now. It is supposed to have dissapeared 12000 years ago, at the end of the ice age.

Well, it used to be an ancient civilization, but over time it got uberflooded and eventually the whole thing was underwater.
Don't quote me on that, though. It's just what I've heard.
