I have often noticed that when two people are having a coversation and a person passes them there is always that one person who stares at the person passing by while they are talking....

I'm bad about not wanting people to hear what I'm saying. Even if they're not paying me any attention I watch them because should they glance over, I might have to say "What the Crap, dude!? Keep walkin' I wasn't talking to you."

That just means that the one person who is staring at the person passing by, would rather be somewhere else.

i am not distracted but become a bit more vigilant; and continue my conversation ,after making sure that both other persons think that i noticed nothing and not distracted at all.

Yes. I think I do it because of the distration of movement. Or if certain features of the person attract you to look.
