Okay, here is the lowdown. The three way calling feature is free--it comes as part of your plan.
Now, when you are using three way calling, regular airtime charges apply on each of the two calls you are concurrently on.

It depends on your plan, look at the documentation. If there's not charge to initiate the conference calling feature (on a per call basis), it would just be the number of minutes utilized in the call. Remember, it would be the minutes of the call times the number of lines that were open, so a 3 minute call amongst 4 people would take 9 minutes of time (you being one of the callers, no time charge for talking to yourself).
