I would have to keep my profession a secret if my job was something like that, or else I'd get fired, but I'm sure I wouldn't have a job like that because I'd want to be open with everything with my friends. As I am now, of course!

I think that would be the CIA agents who would have to lie. FBI agents aren't really that clandestine.

Depends on what your specific job is. If it entails undercover work or intelligence work dealing with classified information, then you don't really have to lie, but you can't tell them the details.
