Six years ago we had a budget surplus and probably the highest credit rating in the world. Now we are so far in debt that I am not sure they can get out of debt without a depression. I do not remember voting to spend all of this money on war. Please explain why you think there is or isn't a conspiracy.

I does seem that way. Altho they keep telling us we are in the best shape ever financially - for the shape we are in, huh?
You will, however, hear a lots of screaming about raising the minimum wage and how it will cause inflation and all its unintended consequences. Watch, just watch...the bill in on its way to the Senate now.

We've never had a budget surplus. There was a "projected surplus" in 1995. Someone told you some lies and you believed them cuz you're too lazy to check on any real facts.
The US lost the respect of the world when they pulled out of Vietnam and left millions to die, thanks to the Democrats and the liberal press. Look it up. We were winning and we cut and run. Now the Dems want us to cut and run again.
Apparently there's a conspiracy to hoodwink ignorant fools like "dobbinscory" and it's been very successful.
If you ever get a clue, let us know.

We are so bankrupt that we don't even own our own money. The Federal Reserve belongs to a private company. You can't get much more poor than that. Do your research. Look up Carlye group.
