I am an African american female totally in love with my Greek boyfriend (the expression "Once you go Greek, the rest is weak") is sooo dead on true. I totally idolize him, and we have so much in common. He is also my bestest friend ever. We have been talking long distance for a year and we have come to agreeing that I go to where he is. The problem is his parents (luckily his siblings are ok with me.) I know the culture and how they view us (His parents are in objection of us marrying.) I am not that type of african american that the media often portray's black women. I listen to classical music, a love traditional greek music (something like Notis Sfakianakis) and a huge fan of Celine Dion, Buble, and Josh Groban. I hate guys with baggy pants. But just a normal girl so my question is ............ What does it take for me to win the affections of his parents (well accept me, they don't have to love me.)
