slipknot rocks!!! wait and bleed, duality, left behind, the nameless, pulse of the maggots are WICKED good songs! the only complaint is there ugliness

I love all genres of metal except for nu metal, so I really don't like Slipknot at all. Their drummer is pretty good, but quite a bit over rated. A much better drummer that I could think of off the top of my head is the guy from Meshuggah. He plays one time with his hands and another with his feet, which is pretty sick. Also, their guitar is way too simplistic and I haven't heard a lot of Slipknot, but the songs I have heard have no guitar solos and very simple riffs. Guitar solos are one of the essential parts of metal and one of the reasons why I don't classify nu metal as metal. I'm probably gonna get crap for posting this from the army of Slipknot fans.
