Iraq is an artificial Country that was created after First World War out of ottoman empire by the British to serve their own end .
At that time King Of Jordan and King of Iraq were both real brothers protected by British till roughly 1960.Due to ethnic diversity of Iraq it was always ruled by the way of force in all its young history [By Sunni Kings and later Dictators].Up till now they have no clue neither any wish to live in democratic way.You can judge it very easily looking at what happened from the last 4 years. These people are Blood thirsty and are after each others throats.I think Pres.Bush is waisting his time by promoting the democracy.

"Oh nicely, let the slums of Detroit flow with the aid of the indisputable fact that works for them!" It would not make sense! :) i love the spirit of this element, yet i'm able to be certain an mission the position the premises are literally not the very similar, and for this reason the logical end would variety.the adaptation i'm able to be certain is that Detroit is contained in the U. S., at the same time as different places are sovereign territories. we don't have any genuine authority there. component to the suspicion about oil is basically with the aid of both prevalent media, or by circumstantial information, and a contact of the 'historians fallacy'. for example, that's straightforward to assert, many years and years after the 2d Iraq warfare, that the warfare changed into thoroughly about oil, because precise this second we've not started to stumble on a unmarried WMD. Historian's fallacy at its optimum. in words of media, nicely there changed into Fahrenheit 9/11, and the information, obviously. also, Bush had the damning success to be the son of a President who had invaded earlier. Circumstantial, however that's sufficient to develop suspicion. also, why not invade North Korea, or different international places? the end many come to is that Iraq has something different international places do not. You guessed it. Oil. No definitive information, yet those are probable some causes human beings dislike both wars. yet another, i assume, is that it is been a looooong time. Any lengthy conflict is going to, contained ultimately, placed on out any military, of any u . s . a ., extraordinarily in this age the position suggestions travels quickly, troops strive against better, etc.

iraq is moving much faster than we did in making a democracy. The problem is you expect this to happen so fast, look at how long it took us to get settled, it was only after the revolution and a civil war that we were a real true democracy. Iraq is very close, and if it weren't for people like you not supporting our cause during this time of war, we would be there. Democrasies don't just come up over night!

Good question... A deep rooted, long-time coming, revolt from within would have been more purging and in the end result in a more stable Iraq. Historically, enduring Democracy is born of revolution, and while "times have changed" human beings have not.

I agree with you. if they dont want a democracy then we should respect that and let them live the way that they want to so they can be happy and we can be what we call happy and then we dont have a problem but no some people are just idiots like that and think that everyone has to have a democracy.

Iran voted for it's President.
Germany voted for Hitler.
The Iraqis don't want Jeffersonian Democracy, and by the way things have been going lately our own politicians don't want it either.
Even at our Nations violent birth the majority were loyalists. God bless our radical founding fathers.

If Iraq became a democracy, the Shiites would control everything, since they are the majority. I think what you mean is republic, where the minority's rights are protected )Sunnis, Kurds, Assyrians & c).

A lot of purple ink on the fingers of common Iraqi people would beg to disagree. And already did it against worse odds that the American colonies ever faced.

I totally agree. The roots of our country and how our country was established is like night and day compared to Iraq. Some of their people hail from the Ottoman Empire; an Empire that is so primitive we might consider it cave man like! Our "ideologies" are certainly not their "ideologies" eg. religion, government.
