How would we know?We dont know what your clothes look like or your age.I'm sure your mom gives you advise for a good reason....she probably doesn't want you to leave the house looking ridiculous or too grown up for your age.

k two parts to this answer, first the bit you want help with, you have clothes you "think" look good, obviously your mother doesnt agree, this is due to the generation difference of course, im a dad to 3 kids of my own and 4 step-kids, so i know where she is coming from having 3 daughters in effect, first, dont wear clothes that are "fashionable", wear clothes that make you look and feel good, and not just because its what "everyone" else wears, you're not everyone else, you're you, an individual, so be individual, be you. Some good advice? ask your mom why she thinks your clothes are horrible, and ask her what she would advise you to wear instead, then reach a compromise between the two, because i know whatever your mom likes, you'll automatically think of as old and out of date. But remember your mom was young once too, and went through exactly the same disagreements with her mom, ask her if you dont believe me, lol.

Now to the second bit of the answer, which i suspect you wont like much ok? it sounds to me as if you're trying to dress to suit others opinions, friends maybe or people at school who you want to impress, i'm afraid in real life it doesn't work like that, like i said you have to be you, if people who call themselves your friends dont like the way you look, then they aren't really that friendly are they? time to work on finding some new friends perhaps? also i couldn't help but notice your spelling and grammar in your question, now i know i may sound like an old fart here, but it would really help you to pay more attention at school instead of worrying what people think of your looks, the better you do at school, the more chance you have of getting a good career, which will give you the ability and money to live your life the way you want to live it when you are an adult and old enough to make your own choices, so just to summarise, dont argue with mom, talk to her, seek her advice then build on it, you may find you have more in common than you think.

Could it be a generational thing? Your mother may not "get" what's in style for teenagers now, but rather be thinking about what was in style when she was your age. I remember thinking "The Rachel" was the coolest haircut when I was in high school, and my mom thought it was awful. As her what she doesn't like...it may just be the style, not you. Or maybe she doesn't think your clothes fit properly...poor fit makes anything look bad. Good luck!

Sit down with your mother and talk about clothes and what she thinks you should wear. Then look around and see what friends are wearing. See if your mom's ideas are like your friends. See what you are wearing looks like. Try to blend between what you mom says and what others wear.

Here are some basic rules:

Wear one dark, one light and one bright. So, black pants with a white shirt and a bright red belt, for example.
Don't wear two patterns together.
No short-shorts, no ripped clothes, skirts go to your knees, no socks with sandals.
Unless you have the perfect, perfect body, low jeans look pretty bad.
Sparkly clothes only at night.

Can you give me a description of the clothes and perhaps why your mom doesn't like it (example: showing too much)?

just wear a cute tshirt or tank top with jeans. i'm assuming you're a teenager who needs clothes for daily life, not a formal event
