I'm actually in my 40's and have fairly good skin but every now and then I get a large eruption in exactly the same spot on my chin. Its very visible and makes me quite self conscious. I assume its hormonal but wonder if anyone else has the same experience?

I also get pimples on my chin. Reasons I could think of: 1, phone receiver touches your chin when you use the phone, 2. your pillow case need changing 3. chin is an oily zone

hormones....and a really clogged pore. You may have one pore that has alot of build up in it and when your hormones fluctuate it flares it up and causes it to get huge and irratated. I would try and steam my face and work on getting as much yucky stuff out as possible. Also take a HOT wash cloth (clean) and hold it against the pimple and then work with sterile hand to pull the head of the zit out, which is a white little ball. If that does not help you may want to see a dermatologist or a cosmetic's clerk at your local mall. Usually they have to know different types of skin problems and solutions in order to sell their product.

You are probably doing something to that area of your face and not even realizing it. Think about your behavior on any given day. Do you spend a long time with your chin resting on anything? Or do you wear a certain type of makeup on that area of your face? Or do you have a habit of playing with your chin (similar to how some people tug on their lip)?

I experience the same thing once a month. Not every month, but it is usually around that time of the month. I think your right when you assume hormones.

That happens to me every once in a while too. My doctor told me that it could be my hormones. It could be the same for u as well.

32 and have a similar experience. I don't know what the cause is, but using a daily acne fighting treatment seems to help. It really is annoying though!

Same thing happens to me. I get zits on the same exact spots on my cheeks. It's so annoying!

I'm curious about that too. I'm 20 and normally dont get pimples, but when I do its either on my forehead, one on my left cheek or one on my nose.
I dont know why. maybe certain pores are more suseptable to oil.

it could be because you rub that spot often so the oiles from your hand get into your pores or you may just be sensitive in that area of your face.
