Any good V6 engine can be used as a transversally mounted engine, it just depends on the size of the vehicle its going into, also trying to find a good front wheel drive transmission, thats going to be inpossible to find.

i would say the VW made OBD II VR6. possibly the best sounding six not made by porsche or TVR ever.
edit: its also an extremely compact engine due to its odd nature. single head v6, super unique architechture, and overall a very interesting engine to work on.

well i have a buick park ave. ultra with a 3.8 super charger init. for a v6 it has lots of power it registers 140 and sometimes when i let my bf drive it which isnt often he makes the tires spin i dont like him doing it but it does leave black marks. but thats what i have and im happy with it
