If you don't have one that is ok, you are not alone. About 90% of you think that cowarding away and letting terrorism take control is the answer.

If we invaded Iraq because of the terrorist attacks on 9/11 and the looming threat of terrorism in Iraq, why not go after Saudi Arabia and Egypt where all of the 9/11 terrorists were from...

Now I remember... GW has tremendous oil investments with the Bin Ladin family in Saudi Arabia so we can't touch them eventhough they spopnsored a TV telethon to raise money for terrorists (I actually saw this on the tele 3 years ago). Also, Dick Cheney had an easy way to make several million dollars with Haliburton and KBR. He is no longer the CEO, however all of his company stock is in his wife's name and they share bank accounts.

Sometimes cutting you looses is the best plan. Consider it a bad stock investment, but we can't claim the financial loss on or taxes. Just a reminder that last year OIF cost the US $213 Billion which is roughly $284 Million a day which we borrowed from China. The question I have is what happens to our economy when China calls in the Trillion Dollar debt we owe them...?

How about we actually fight the war that we say we're there to fight. There are two different conflicts going on here; Iraqi fighting a civil war, and Iran/Syria-supported terrorist forcces.

No matter how much we'd like it, a democracy cannot be forced upon Iraq. Attempting to create a government governed by the people cannot work without the support of the people. Iraq needs to find its own future plans, just like the colonists did before the French and Spanish stepped in.

As for the puppet war being fought by Iran/Syria, lets stop fighting the people they support. Iran and Syria are the true threats, the true terrorist bases. If we want to actually make a difference in the War on Terror, we need to strike these major supports of terrrorism.

Either way, we need to take troops out of Iraq for two reasons: To let the Iraqis have their country back, and to go after the real threats.

Why are you not there? are you an unpatriotic coward? or just a stupid kid?

Can you suggest any plan that will not lead to the destruction of other nation States? Are you stupid anough to believe that using intelligence in the region will only lead to terrorism?

I agree that dems do not have the answer, but it is the repubs who created the problem in Iraq in the first place. Iraq IS a mess and that IS Bush/Cheney's fault!

Do not look to the dems for answers, they are just as stupid!

OK let's answer the question in real simple terms so you might, after almost 4 years of Bush's Iraq ********, understand.

If you have a viable plan for nation building, and the nation in question held out an opportunity to allow you to rebuild, as in Iraq immediately after Saddam's regime fell, then if you p1ss all over that country, deliberately stir up old inter-faction hatred, first fight the sunnis, then the shia, then the sunnis again, then the shia and then after 4 years your head of the DOD admits he cannot even tell the frikken difference between a sunni and a shia, then you effectively show you HAD NO PLAN for Iraq. You have shafted that country for 4 years so now is the time for an intelligent and common sense approach to take over from a delusional, corrupt and brain-dead approach.

The only plan the repubs had was steal the oil and they couldn't even do THAT properly!!!

so now they have totally broken the country and repubs are asking the dems, "well what would you do?" It's as if dumb and dumberer are in charge of the war.

Here is what should be done.

1. immediately pull out all of the troops.

2. call for the heads of the US and UK to face trial for war-crimes

3. have truth and reconcilliation courts set up to examine what happened and what went wrong and why.

4. invest billions in genuinely rebuilding the country. (the US stole $10 billion of Iraq's regeneration funds and the Iraqi's stole $10 Billion of the US regeneration funds within the first month of the occupation!)

5. have genuine open and public elections where everyone can vote and everyone's vote is counted in public and the outcome is based on the votes cast. (unlike Iraq today)

6 Treat Iraq AS Iraq. the vast majority of Iraqis saw themselves AS Iraqis first and Sunni/Shia second..... untill the occupation forces started deliberately stirring up trouble between the factions.

7. Invite Syria and Iran and the rest if the Middle east to help

8. Get the UN more involved

9. Stop slavishly supporting Israel at the UN.

10. Push to create a completely nuclear weapon free middle east (including Isreal)

11. Push HARD for a viable israeli/palestinian solution.

12. treat other nation states with respect.

13. Work from a basic rule-book of honesty, compassion, decency, respect, fairness and moderation.

14. Create the decent conditions that starve terrorists of support.

15. create justice, fair law courts and a system of fairness for all.

16. Then Give Iraq THEIR oil back!

17. make it perfectly clear that, If any nation is found to help any terrorist with a WMD attack on America, than that country gets nuked into green glass!

If it's an Islamic attack, then we Nuke their most imprtant symbols. We Nuke mecca!

It will be very clear, that we will leave you alone, and you will leave us alone.

What is the point of a nuclear deterant if it is not going to be used to deter any attack?

The problem with republicans is not that they are soft on terrorism, but that they are utterly brain-dead on terrorism. they are stupid and idiotic on terrorism.

I am hoping that someone could come along who is smart on terrorism, and use some common sense for a change.

Democrat and republican alike are just plain brain-dead-stupid on terrorism.

If you're a realistic democrat you'll run away and hide. Iraq is pretty much a lost cause. We can't cut and run or the "enemy" will be fighting us over here. Throwing more troops may be the answer, but only if the job is done right, this time. G.W. has shown us all "how not to run a war."

We're in a real mess in Iraq. If we just cut and run now the situation is only going to get worse and we'll be back over their sooner or later fighting and loosing more American young.

Drawing down troops in a planned way is the answer. I don't get it with you guys that won't accept the truth, most of the insurgency are Iraqi nationals angry about US being in there country.

Drawing back troop levels a year or two ago would have stabilized the country.

Now the only way to accomplish that would be to flood Iraq with non-US troops. A majority of the Iraqis in many areas view killing American soldiers as a welcomed task. That should speak volumes about our presence.

What's your plan? Stay there as is and watch yet more troops get blown up for absolutely no change in the situation. Genius!

How about getting Bush a fiddle, so he can play it while Iraq goes even further up the spout?

Run away is the only option now, thanks to G. W. Bush's "leadership"!

Terrorism is actually something created by the USA's foreign policy throughout the last decades.

N.B.: About the French white flag stuff, remember how long it took for American troops to leave Somalia a while ago!

We, Americans are brainwashed!
And God does NOT exist!

Read this: it may sound sad to you, but this is the truth:

This war is lost for good anyway. The only chance to (maybe) reverse the situation would be to send 10 times more troops, at least, which is not feasible (yes, that would be about one and a half million troops!)

140,000 troops already there; add 21,500: that's 161,500.
It's similar to having 16 guys instead of 14 to do the same job: does not make a big difference, does it?

It does not even replace the 22,800 American troops who have been injured!!! Not mentioning the 3,000 who are dead and those jailed for theirs crimes...

Do you remember this Iraqi "Minister of Information" who, at the begining of the war, said the American troops would be defeated. We all laughed at him. Even him did not believe what he was saying. All we can see now is that... he was actually right!

Bush is a LOOSER IN CHIEF!

And if America does not change its foreign policy, "we will soon have car bombs here at our schools, churches and homes", as someone wrote here...

P.S.: Remember, God does NOT exist!

LOL what's your plan, other than to ignore George H.W. Bush's book, in which he clearly states that invading Iraq is a stupid idea?

Oh, yeah --- we know the GOP plan --- screw it all up and then dump it on the Democrats to clean up.

Again.

When you turn 17, make sure you come back on here and tell us how you got an age deferment and enlisted in the Infantry, okay, hero?

Bush name is synonymous with oil.He sh!t in the cat box and now were suppose to clean it... We have lost more troopers there than all of WW2. *
