without downloading anything. i can't play yahoo games or view pictures on some websites.

heya, all u need to do is just uninstall the java software thats already there in ur system and then installl the safest and best java that is SUNJAVA and u wont get any further problem...
u can directly download it from the link

The problem could be JSc or could be Java Runtime Error. First install JRE on ur system. Download it from www.java.com, restart ur system then again open it. If still not opening then enable JavaScript in ur Browser.
Or more thing on Some sites install activeX controls to run their application on client computer. See for any blocked popup that is named with ActiveX control.
