Fear is great. It keeps people from doing things they wouldn't normally do, or it can help to control other people. And a good ol' adrenaline rush every once in awhile does a body good. Makes you feel alive!

Depends on who's using it. Fear in us is a natural response to danger. But people use fear as a control over another person. It goes either way.

Humans basically have two emotions: Love and Fear. Fear being the opposite of love. So then, how would one ever experience love without knowing the polar end of that emotion.

The main point of fear is to keep us from doing things likely to get us injured or killed.
When you have children you learn how dangerous the world can be for babies, so fear is also useful for protecting future generations.

Of course it is. Without it, nothing would be done about the situation. Fear, sometimes, help us to understand and how to face certain circumstances. Then again, fear may block our will to try and/or face it.
