As a long time basketball player and someone who has made some big free throws in games, I can say that you need to develop a routine first of all. Always do the same thing when you step up to the line, whether it be 3 bounces and then shoot or 1 bounce and a spin and then shoot or whatever.

Also, the less you do at the line, the less your mind will wander and start thinking about what is at stake. I recommend dribbling 2 or 3 times at the line and shooting it.

Finally, to block everyone out you simply must focus on what you're doing, shooting a free throw which you should have done thousands of times before. Concentrate on the front of the rim and visualize the ball going straight through the net.

So, concentrate, visualize, and execute. Good luck!!!

It is the end of the game and you got fouled outside the 3 point line and are down by 2, and all you have to do is make all 3 shots to win the game.
