Some apartment houses have storage spaces for "necessities" such as this - you may have to ask because many won't tell you unless you do.
Or, since it's only two tires and for a short period, you could store them in a couple of large garbage bags in a closet, maybe even under a bed if they aren't too big.

Affluent people store them at independent tire dealers during the summer, some actually have space. Big car dealers may do it also. Ask around, repair shops and in small towns usually there are lots of empty stores with owners names on the windows. What ever you do be sure your investment is insured by yourself to avoid any confusion.

Sell them on ebay, take them to a friends house for storage, put them under your bed, buy all season (mud& snow) tires for year around use in the first place, put hooks in the apartment wall and hang them up as "art".

thats a good question. i guess you could clean them up and put them under your bed if you were really desperate to store them, or rent a storage unit to put them in. chain them to something outside if your able and cover with a tarp so no one can see what they are. good luck

If you have a regular shop that you go to for repairs, they might store them for you (our shop did, got us to see the car twice a year).
