with such distinctive and powerful words with extreme definitions that the reader feels a sort of impact from your writing?? i cant think of the word...its some type of literary device...
please help and i will <33 you foreverrr :]

Depends on what you are trying to describe. Imagery is the use of words to make the reader truly feel the setting you are describing. Hyperbole's are used to exaggerate a point and make a character or setting stand out with either a positive or negative image. Creative license is when you use a lot of exaggeration especially to enhance something fictional

"Belletristic hyperbole" is one form of affectation or pretension that would probably come close.
