If you sign up for paypal make sure it stays the basic paypal.

That would depend on how you listed it. Did you say you would accept a Money Order or Personal Check. In that case you will receive one of those from the person sent to the address you registered on Ebay with. (Sometimes you might have to choose an option to the right of the item on you "Selling" page. that says send invoice.- That way another email is sent showing the exact total they owe and how they should pay.)
If you said you would accept paypal, the buyer can pay with their bank account or credit card by going to www.paypal.com and send money to an account under your email address. You will receive an email saying you have been paid. Then you will create an account with paypal and can add your bank account to have the funds deposited into it. It takes a few days to get the money, but paypal is relatively safe. Just protect your password. Good luck!

Which form of payment did you accept?
I hate to say this, but paypal is easy.
Make sure you go to www.paypal.com and sign up for an account. You will need to enter your bank, or credit card information to get verified.
Next time you sell, just say, I ACCEPT PAYPAL ONLY. And if should be really simple from there.
Selling on eBay is not the easiest, if you want it to go all smooth.... but with a little patience, and a lot of reading you're on your way.
By the way, i hate eBay, but they are the only damn company that everybody goes to when buying ANYTHING.
For buyers, ebay can be heaven. For sellers, it can cost a LOT of money to sell stuff.

First you open an PayPal account
(you need a bank account and a credit card for this)
Then you open an e-Bay account
e-Bay and Pay are now the same company
You start with 0 feedback
Once you have a successful buy or sell - you get a positive feedback
The more + feedback the better it is
start buying low price items to learn and after that you can start selling your items too

At the end of the auction, you will receive an email from ebay stating that the auction has ended. Click on where it says, "Send Invoice", fill in the amounts, then click on "Send". Pretty simple.

Wait until they mail you a money order (dont take checks) or set up an account. You need to go the their website to find out how. www.paypal.com.
