I watched the presidents speach tonight and I am wondering are we forcing our way of life on others? Actually, Come to think of it I don't remember us having a vote on invading Iraq. It kind of seems like it was dictated to us that we were going to spend all of our budget surplus plus all of the nations credit on war.

You voted for the invasion when your elected senators and congressmen who voted to go to war. If you don't like the way they voted, you should vote them out of office. Or call them up and tell them to no longer fund the war.

I'm always amazed when other can't see the complete picture. We're there to protect our freedoms at home. Our enemy is the Islamofascists who cannot be talked to. They want us dead. If we leave Iraq before the Iraqis can defend themselves, Iran and Syria will bring the WMD's back in and continue their nuclear weapons program. A few years later and we can expect an incoming nuclear weapon. You'll probably still be ignorant of what's going on, and will never understand how millions had to die because of your ignorance.

The invasion of Iraq was forced upon us by lies and lies and more lies. We do not have the right to alter events in another Nation that offers no threat to America or our Allies. They lied to Congress they lied to the Senate and then to us. We became the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The Bush team of thugs are murderers and profitters in this war. Bush and his cronies are the most evil force of our History. Write your Congressmen' Your Senators and your State Representatives and ask for Impeachment. Check out Impeach them@gmail.com or go to their YAHOO site. Also check out afterdownystreet.com. Yes people can make a difference.

It is obvious that this man, nor his republican buddies care about America. Anytime there is a war the rich (republicans) get filthy richer by swain billions into their own pockets. That is what republicans have done since their inception.I would estimate that 30 billion of our dollars have found their way into their pockets and those that run that lucrative business. Soon God will throw all these crooks into a fiery furnace, along with their boos, Satan the devil....KECK

Yep! People complain all the time about not wanting their tax dollars spent on welfare, unwed moms, immigration, etc...

Well, I don't want my tax dollars spent to build more war machines. We've found the weapons of mass destruction, they're scattered throughout the USA! We've met the enemy and "they" is US.

We don't have a democracy...we have a republic...a corporate republic. Democracy was shot to death years ago.

Saddam was not a president.

Majority voted for him (or so it was proven) so the people don't have to vote on every issue.

Majority is not always right, so you can't ask them every now and then about everything (look at Germany during Hitler's days, they supported him)

you can't force freedom, can you? It looks to me like the iraqis by the large embrace democracy. Come to think of it, the President doesn't need your vote to deploy troops. His constitutional powers grant him the privilege of deploying troops where he sees fit. Learn your US Government, would you? You are speaking out of ignorance and stupidity.
