ok heres the deal, i am 16 and im a late bloomer (just started puberty) and latley i have been getting confused about my sexuality. I have a girlfriend and a LIKE her a lot and ive never found myself attracted to guys emotioally or physcally, i have never liked a man and have always liked girls and felt they are attarctive but my body reacts to me different. i do get physically aroused by girls but sometimes i do by men and idk why but most of the time i get aroused by men from of the thought of themm dominatining me in a sexual situation and i find pleasure out of giving someone else pleasure instead of them pleasureing me but i would never think of dating or even kissing a man bc i think its gross, just giving a man pleasure arouses me for some reason but i am also atracted to woamn more than men , i dont think im gay but im having a mental war inside myself and im really confused am i gay? bisexual? straight? or is this just a phase im goin through?

well you sound confused. But relax, you don't have to make any decision about yourself tonight..There are worse things in life than being homosexual (actually it's not bad at all)...but give yourself a break,..you are 16 and self admittedly a late bloomer..be easy on yourself..hormones can be a little hard to control...

Firstly, a strict definition of a bisexual would be someone who has romantic and/or sexual relations with other people of more than one sex (though not neccessarily at the same time )

However, since not everyone has neccessarily had the opportunity to act on their sexual/romantic attractions, some people prefer a looser definition; for instance, that a bisexual is a person who - in their own estimation - feels potentially able to have such attraction. This could be anyone who has erotic, affectionate, or romantic feelings for, fantasies of, and/or experiences with both men and women.

Also, it sounds like you are attracted to the concept or idea of a certain power dynamic. Many people fantasise about people of the same sex and never act on those fantasies.

A bisexual may be more attracted to one sex than the other, attracted equally to both, or find people's sex unimportant. The strength of their attractions to men and women may vary over time.

Or it may be a case that you may have fluid sexuality which is when a person's sexuality changes over a long period of time. It is not overnight, and usually not extreme, but small changes in sexual attraction can be attributed to the fluidity of human sexuality. Aside from describing shifts between homosexuality, heterosexuality, and bisexuality, it can also describe changes in sexual desire. This would apply to an asexual who begins to become sexual or a sexual person moving toward asexuality.

" Males do not represent two discrete populations, heterosexual and homosexual. The world is not to be divided into sheep and goats. It is a fundamental of taxonomy that nature rarely deals with discrete categories... The living world is a continuum in each and every one of its aspects."

Men, it seems, tend to have more sexual fantasies than women and these are more likely to be paired with masturbation. Sexual fantasies can serve many purposes. They can induce sexual desire, maintain sexual arousal, enhance the sexual experience, trigger an orgasm, and preserve a memory.

you don't need to label yourself gay or straight or bi.. you are young and your hormones are raging and confusing you..

hmmm, arousal by men dominating you? wow, that's quite the fantacy! it is normal to have strange and unusual fantacies about things you may not actually want to do in real life.

sounds like you have a bit of a curious side, and that's fine..

if you know you like girls, and if you are happy with your girlfriend.. then that's great.. some people like to complicate things with affairs and cheating, but i'd say don't do that.. enjoy your girlfriend and focus on enjoying what you have.. teenage dating is a great learning experience for life in terms of social skills and understanding your feelings..

you may find later in life that you'd like to try dating or having sex with a man, but since you don't seem to want to go there, then that's fine.. don't worry about these side feelings and fantacies..

If you've just started puberty, it's too early to call. Relax - these things often take some time to sort out. Just concentrate on weathering the hormone storm.

it just sounds like puberty to me you maybe straight or gay time will tell. but most of my friends who are gay tell me they knew from an early age so its most likely just a phase. ultimately just be yourself and you will find out who you are
