Ok, your teacher is trying to test you. So, they might be bad because they're generally more expensive. And it's harder to justify some organic foods: for example, organic bananas are more expensive, but since the pesticide stays on the skin and you peel the skin, spending money on organic bananas isn't worth it. Also, farmers have to spend five years not using pesticides in order to get the organic label, so in those five years they have less food to sell (pesticides destroy bugs that destroy crops, not using pesticides means fewer crops to sell), but they don't get the money that they'd get once the crop can be certified as organic. Also, organic food is more likely to have little bug bites, and therefore be less "pretty" so it doesn't sell as well.

Hope that helps.

not to be rude but that was the most stupid question i have ever heard. conventional foods are the ones that are bad for you because they are sprayed with pesticides and herbicides that are used to keep away bugs and other such things. these pesticides are toxic to your body. Organic foods are not sprayed with these things and are harder to grow.
