In general, the rule is to calculate from the first day of your last period.

calculate due date here http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/due-date-calculator/PR00099

calculate weeks here http://pregnancytoday.com/resource/theweeks.htm

The day you conceived is generally 2 weeks after your last menstrual period, which is the technical start of a pregnancy, using the 40 week pregnancy guide. So although the fetus is only about 2 weeks old, you are technically 4 weeks pregnant, with a due date somewhere around the middle of September.

Hope this didn't confuse you!

Typically by the time your period is due you are somewhere between 4-6 weeks pregnant. If you are sure about conception date then that wouldn't be correct, it would also be unlikely that before that that the hormone that it detects would be high enough to give a positive reading......got me stumped!

I am not sure. There is a website called babycentet.com. if you put all your info in there, like the beginning of your last period, they can tell you. They have a pregnancy calender on their. they will also send you emails to tell you what to expect for each month of pregnancy.

I would say five. Your first week of pregnancy started on the first day of your last period. Congratulations! Have fun.
