Nick will begin to enter the life of Gatsby more fully, and there will be more interaction between characters. If you're complaining about the emptiness of them, however, this book probably isn't for you.
I'm not sure what flashback you're talking about, but if it's the one about James Gatz' transformation into Gatsby it's just a little backstory, really.

That e book is soooo unhappy T_T Gatsby turns right into a war hero in wwI and later turns right into a prosperous, effective self-made guy. All interior the wish of one day wooing Daisy, the female he loves. His fulfillment as a bussiness guy and soldier interior the army make him super i assume and an American hero. His tragic loss of life and the actuality few attend his funeral are ironic even with the indisputable fact that. He replaced into very respected and heroic, yet upon his loss of life, no one relatively cared. wish that facilitates!

Keep reading it. The book's worth it. And don't go renting the flick. Mia Farrow and Robert Redford are good, no doubt, as is Sam Waterson as Nick, but the book is not only an important story but it's written so well. The cadence of the langauge alone is worth the time.

The Great Gatsby is a great book. I assume you're in high school?? It was one of my favorite books when I was in school. Along with where the red fern grows, flowers for Elgernon, The old man and the sea and All quite on the western front. All great books, highly recomand all of them.

Yes, the book gets better as you go on. It starts out rather confusing and dull, but it'll get more interesting

part of the meaning of the story is the lack of emotion from some of them. it does get better.
