She beat Mauresmo 2:0(7:5,6:0).1.Can she beat Vaidisova now?!I think that she will win tournament!She already win 1 this year(That was 1st tournament for her this year.
2.Can she get into top 5?

Jelena Jankovic is on a roll. She is definitely off to a good start. Last year, she made it all the way to the U.S. Open semifinals where she almost defeated Hardenne. The question might not be if she can beat Vaidisova, it might be, can she beat Clijsters? I think and I hope Jankovic will slaughter Vaidisova, and i think she will most likely face Clijsters in the final. I think and I hope Jankovic does the same thing to Clijsters. Jankovic is proving herself, and by winning her second consecutive tournament of the year, she will most likely enter into the top 5 very soon. I think Jankovic will be a great contender at the Australia Open. I wish her the best.

Jankovic has the potential to be in top 5. I think she is one of the fittest player right now on tennis court, disregard her back problem. She runs fast, returns the ball well and most importantly, she's not afraid of big players, for example, Martina Hingis, Mauresmo, Vaidisova. I think the only problem is her consistency. Somewhere on wtatour.com, she said, when she wins, she will keep winning, but when she loses, she does not have the motives to play. The proof is last year, at the end of the season, she lost in every first round match. If she can overcome that, I think she will definitely be in top 5, especially when lots of good tennis players want to retire (Kim Clijster, Davenport,..)

She has already beaten Vaidisova 6-4 4-6 6-4. But she admitted that she is very tired now. Naturally Kim Clijsters will have the upper hand in the final. She is great player and certainly has the potential to break into the top-5.

If Jelena can reach the later rounds of the Aussie Open and keep her cool, she could definitely win the whole tournament. I'd hate to see another repeat of the US Open semis where she basically choked big time against Henin-Hardenne. That was painful to watch because I really wanted Jelena to beat Justine.

yeh shes that sort of potential and theres no reason she cant beat Vaidisova although it will be tough theres no way she cant beat her.
