I just heard Fienstien say that a democracy wont't work in Iraqbecause they have never had a democracy before and they don't have the infrastructure. What did our country have before we had our democracy? Nothing. You can take nothing and make something from it Ms. Fienstein. Or did you and your democrat cronies think that our country has existed since the beginning of time with a democratic government. Not only is she ignorant of how her own country was formed, she is degrading to the people of Iraq. Anybody else hear her comments on Larry King Live?

Democrats are too out of touch with the American People. They do not care for what the American People stand for and all they do is spread lies, slander, gossip, and rumors to the American People.

Iraq is founded on Islam principles and the religion is incorporated in with Government. Always has been, always will be.

The United States was founded on the basis of Christianity and holds very different morals and ethics than Muslim.

Trying to take the infastruction of Iraq and turning it into a Jeffersonian Democracy is like trying to force a fish out of water and to take him for a walk

A wise man once said - You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. Same thing goes for Iraq. The US has tried to lead the Iraqi people to democracy, but if they aren't going to drink, you can't force it. We've been leading them for 4 years.

Our troops are sapped and our homeland is unsecure. We need to protect our own people before we start rebuilding other country's neighborhoods.

Fienstein forgot that iraq was a successful democracy for over 40 years before saddam.

the leaders of pre-America WANTED a Democracy, the point is you can't, by definition, force people to adopt a Democratic form of government

As a democrat I'm not out of touch. However, I am out of money (due to a sluggish economy,) affordable gasoline, and I'm out of patience with a war your republican president lied to get started.

I like California. If it weren't for Feinstein, Boxer, Pelosi...it wouldn't be so bad there. Dem's out of touch a little? That's an understatement.
