Bush will be sending 21,000 more troops to Iraq and asking for additional $5.6 billion budget.

For the first time since the start of the Iraq war, Bush took responsibility for past mistakes in Iraq.

The very sad thing is that as I listened to Bush's speech, he is now only speaking of "U.S. troops". He never mentioned "coalition troops" or "our allies". It seems that the U.S. will now be alone in prosecuting the war. There had been no statement of support from Tony Blair, and whether he will also commit additional British troops. It looks like Mr. Blair had already realized the outcome of the war and jumped off the sinking ship.

21,000 more troops. We're not leaving any time soon.

He admitted he was wrong, for the first time in his administration.
