When I go out for a night of drinking I don’t hold back. However, this past weekend I became so intoxicated I was disoriented. Even worse, I had no perception where I was and almost got hit by a car. The bars I go to are pretty much in a 5 to 10 block range and I always walk. So my question is where can I buy or rent a Seeing Eye dog to bring out with me to the bars and most importantly guide me safely home?

I don't know about that but here's a good seeing eye dog joke:
These two men were walking their dogs and decide to go into a restaurant for lunch. However, before they entered, they read a sign that says "no pets allowed." As one of the two men resignedly turns to leave, the other says, "wait here." He then proceeds to enter with his german shepard and is gone for a brief minute. He returns triumphantly stating that he had gotten a table for himself and all he had to do was claim that his german shepard was a seeing eye dog and thus had to accompany him indoors. He entered again hurridly to have his lunch.
The second man thought, "what the heck, it's worth a try." So he enters with his dog. He is greeted immediately with the words, "I'm sorry, sir, but we don't allow pets in the restaurant," to which he also responded, "but this is no ordinary dog, this is my seeing eye dog." The waiter looked at him suspiciously and challenged,"but your seeing eye dog is a chiwawa!" to which the man replied:

"They gave me a chiwawa?!?!"

Haha...fun stuff. Yes, I am bored!

I figure there are people waiting for a good guide dog. So, you may be out of luck on this idea. Need will take priority, and, I doubt they see you as needing the Dog more then needing A.A.

How about not drinking so much? Why do you pay that much at a bar to not remember what you've done?
Either that or call a cab and pass out in your front yard like all of the other drunk assholes.

Excercise your brain and give your liver a rest. The dogs are trained, and then matched to an owner.

They cannot be bought, and they certainly cannot be rented.

I don't think a dog would be helpful. Lay off the drinking. If you did, you wouldn't have this problem in the first place.

Guide dogs are for the blind, not the stupidly inebriated.
