I'm 18 and my green veins are really noticeable in my arms right up to the palms of my hands. Does this mean anything, i.e vitamin deficiency etc??

YOUR BLOOD IS THICK AND YOU NEED IRON.
THIS IS SOMETIMES CAUSED BY EATING ALOT OF STARCHY FOODS. TRY GREEN VEGETABLES AND MAYBE SOME ENSURE. AND DRINK MORE WATER THAN JUICES OR SODAS.

THANKS!

Some people's veins are simply closer to the surface. Ask your parents if theirs are like that and if not then look at your siblings. If you have none and youre still concerned go to a doctor.

Typically veins showing just means you have low body fat content in the areas visible. The fact that they are "green" (blue) is just the color of our blood as it travels through the body. When blood hits oxygen is when it appears red. Nothing is wrong.

Chances are that there is nothing wrong. You skin may be thinner or more transparent than others. Elderly people have thin skin and you can see their veins. Also if you are blonde or light complected your skin could just be more transparent. If you're really concerned about this, see your doctor.

Some pregnant women suffer from symtoms like these. What's Tom Cruise's girlfriends name again? Anyway she had it happen to her. Also, it can happen after workout. It means that muscle is developing.
