For school? With an written material?

>Make a compost bin out of scrap pallets (wooden bases that large amounts of store stock is shipped on).
List what goes into a compost pile, in what layers and why.
What to do as the pile "cooks" and what to do with the end product of the compost pile.

>Discuss native plant species and why it's important to encourage the repopulating of these species in their native areas.
Like how the species help feed and shelter the 'native' wildlife... birds, insects and mammals... Discuss the life cycle of a chosen species let's say an oak tree.
Then find seedlings or seeds of those plants/trees and actually plant them.

>Earth friendly products.
List ones that people in your area can find in stores (around your area)... Cleaning products... dish soap, laundry detergent, kitchen and bathroom cleaners... etc.
Talk about how they are better for the environment or why the conventional products are bad... (allergies, sensitivities in people and poison to wildlife and environment).
Discuss the overuse and misuse of pesticides, herbacides, fungecides...etc. There are safer alternatives...

>How living simply can help the environment all year round instead of just on earth day... promote local living... help local farmers and trades people by giving them your business.
Encourage organic & heirloom produce to be grown.
Reduce, reuse, recycle, reassign...
How 'luxury' hurts the environment... SUVs and other recreational vehicles, swimming pools, extensive or frequent travelling, exotic fruits and vegetables, electronics..etc.

>Do a project on GMO... Genetically Modified Organisms.
How the regular consumer doesn't know which produce and products are modified... we are all essentially being experimented on.

>Make bird feeders out of recycled (safe) materials.

Not sure how simple or elaborate you want to get... hopefully I've spawned some ideas in you.

my mom is a teacher and at her school every year her class plants a tree on the playground. Now it looks like a beautiful botanical garden. They name the trees too. Is it weird to own an Old Navy Earth Day shirt?

Bathing scarcely, being respective of own wishes and expectations, showing mercy and good to others, and providing ecological research to nature and ambiance. This proves some risponsability, makes out for improvements given theory and assertiveness, and helps people in their particular enactments. Sure making sure ecology and reserves are respected seems inadequate now, we can do without, even helping life and supporting make believe. This is actual and profound.
