Does any one know where to buy the blind cave fish otherwise known as the Mexican tetra or blind cave tetra?

I have checked many websites, but have been unable to buy any. Is there a way to buy them offline?

I have not been able to find them in my petstores, I live in the south

Check with some of the tour caves in southern Missouri. That way the fish will be authentic and have a history. Carfull shiping as altitude change will kill them on an airplane. The pet store fish quite often has a needle hole punched in thier lungs (gill) to handle the rapid change in shipping altitude. This of course can cause complications so I avoid exotic fish in pet stores. Cosmic Cavern put trout in their underground lake it only took 40 years till thier fish started loosing thier eyes. Yes, as a matter of fact many chain fish stores carry them, juust today at a local petland I found an entire tank of these odd things.
they go for just under two dollars in New York, I dont know the prices for other states

That's usually pretty common in chain stores. Fin nippers too.
