Go to the grocery store and get roses, they are cheaper then the florist and just as nice. That leaves you some money left over to think about something else. Does she like jewelry? You can get a nice bracelet or something inexpensively at Kohls, JcPenneys and or Target. A card with a thoughtfelt hand written message is always important.

Use the internet to find a nice recipe that you can make yourself (pasta is always a good choice and hard to muck up), take your cash to the store and get the ingredients. Buy some candles (dollar store is great for this) and some cheap carnations for the table.
Make her dinner and make it special with a nicely set table with candles and a flower centerpiece. Use a sheet for a tablecloth to add some elegance.
She will LOVE it. It's the small touches that us girls go for, like the centerpiece and tablecloth.

A nice romantic dinner always works. Skip fast food, chilli's, 99's, Ruby Tuesday or any place like that. Look on-line in your local area for a classy restaurant at a reasonable price. Just type in the key words restaurants in (YOUR TOWN) within 20 miles. DON'T TELL HER YOU LOVE HER. It's too soon! You'll be glad you didn't. Let her tell you first.

Make her dinner, buy her flowers, rent a romantic move that *she* would like. Nice evening in just the two of you, can be done easily for $50 or less. Don't forget the full body massage, no extra $$$!

Oh, for crying out loud, the reason human beings do not get married anymore is they did not favor that stale custom bogging them down -- yet you want to rejoice a measly six months mutually? how about a hoop from the Cracker Jack field?

Nothing. Its not an anniversary. It is well worth mentioning as a milestone just to get the kudos, but nothing more than that. Unless you dont expect the relationship to last a whole year.

Take her out to your favorite, best-valued restaurant. Afterwards, take her up to the top of a mountain. Tell her she's a special person in your life.
She will melt and give you everything you want. At least, for the night.

Take her out for a nice dinner - and give her jewelry. A nice bracelet would be good - telling her HAPPY 6 MO. ANNIVERSARY!!! Jewelry lasts - flowers are only for a week.
