oh my... try try try!!! Whatever usually distracts you, go AWAY from it! Just try to concentrate. Get out a timer and time yourself on how long you think you need to study. Time yourself for a break. Stay away from anything that might take your attention away. Punish yourself if necessary. You need to be VERY disciplined and don't give yourslelf more breaks than necessary.

picture yourself 10 years from now. are you struggling to pay bills and always worried about getting evicted because you cannot pay the rent or feed your kids? then you didn't try hard enough in school--or--if you do try hard in school and have good study habits, then 10 years from now you will probably be a partner in a law firm, just getting a $40,000 a year raise and you drive the car of your dreams, own a nice home, have the respect and admiration of others and have no worries whatsoever! look up on google suggestions on how to get some good study habits and stick with the suggestions that work. don't be like me---if i could do it over again, i would be studying and working hard in school so i never have to worry about not having the things i need or getting the things i want. set goals, stick to good morals, be kind and honest, work hard and you will have it all! senior year i blew it, i could have been in the top ten. so get to work, and do it for the right reasons---for you!

What you need is a good dose of what it would be like to make a living without an education. Go to 5 of your neighbors and ask if you can mow their lawns and weed their gardens for free. Then do it for one month! This will let you know what manual labor is like (the kind of work you can get without an education.) If you enjoy this, and you don't mind sweating it out, then don't sweat your education.

If you don't enjoy this type of work, then do the easier stuff . . . your school work . . . and get that education so you can be qualified to do more pleasant things THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

I am both a MOTHER and a TEACHER. But, most of all, I have to work for a living, as you will one day. Think about it.

Just a little initiative and you'll be fine. Think of it this way. Who will suffer in the first place, me or you? It's you, right? Whatever your attitude right now, it's you, who will pay the consequences. It's your future at stake here not anyone else. If you excel now I'm positive you'll excel in the future. Do your best now because there's no turning back. You don't want a regretfully you in the future "like me.....................". It's time for a change!

i can't help you.. only you can help yourself. i was like you, when i was in school. i tend not to do anything, but i pass. when i tried to study ONCE, and i ended up being one of the best students in our year, because i met my HS girlfriend (i was a bi) then i became lazy again because we broke up... so i didn't do anything again.

i suggest you try to look for that.. an inspiration. a person who'll make you want to be the best in your class
