Hi,
I have a question about my period. It still going but it is light. My concern is that it has been 8 days now and it usually lasts for about 4-5 days, at most. I am married and my husband and I did engage in love making during my perioud 2 days ago and he did release in me (We are trying for our first child this year). I was wondering if anyone has experienced a period that lasted longer then 7 days.
On a side note, I don't need a man to answer this.

I wouldn't worry either. The other thing is, by having sex just as you were about to end your period, it can cause you to keep flowing a little bit longer.
It has happened to me, and Dr. told me not to worry.

First off...we can't see you so stop blushing. Now, on to the answer, my periods always last a week or more and this is due to a change in hormones. Yours could be the same. If it lasts any longer you may want to talk to your gyno. Good luck on the baby making and have fun!! On second thought, what are the chances that you were already pregnant and you are miscarrying. I'm not trying to be morbid, however, i have had 3 miscarriages of all different degrees...just thought I would put it out there for thought.

I have indeed had my period for more that 7 days... it was 9! And now I''m having it again 5 days after it ended! lol! Its perfectly normal. but if it lasts more than 12 days you should see a doctor.

Routinely 10 days. My sister 9 or 10 days. It's ok, it's just a long one. Mine used to stretch a day or two sometimes if we made love during a period.

yea one of my periods was about 9 days and the last like 4 were pretty light, but still there...it was jsut stess and all

don't worry about it , my periods can last anywhere from 6days to 3 wks usually.. i once had my period (after 2nd child) from jan2-nov 29 .. don't worry about it..
