I need to ask my mom for a new bra because my old ones are too small but i cant get over the fear of doing it. I know i need to ask my mom and i know she wont get mad or anything. is there any tips on what exactly to say or any tips on how to calm my nerves?

just tell her what you need and dont try to sugar coat it. that will just prolong the conversation. try to get her at a time when she is not too busy. when i first got my period, i asked my mom straight out for pads and that was the end. just gather up the courage to say it once, and that is all it will take.

You just gotta tell her! Ask her in a very calm way that seems like it's no big deal to you. Or, just ask her if you can go shopping with your friends, or alone by yourself in a store. Then buy a few bras, and IF she questions you about it, just say very calmly that you just needed a few new bras because your old ones were getting a little "cramped".

u know she wuz once probly in this same situation too when she wuz younger! she knows whats gonna be going on with ur body cuz shes already been there done that. just casualy mention it sometime maybe if yall r at the store and u pass the bra section just say sumthin about how u need some new ones cuz ur old ones r too small. no big deall

There nothing to fear just openly ask her, I'm sure she will take you to the store and buy you a new one, but if there any reason why she doesn't buy you personal items,such as bras, you need to ask someone else that you love such as your favorite aunt to buy you one

it nothing to be nervous about just ask her and get over it and if ur embaressed just keep in mind that she 2 is a woman and 2 has to buy new bras

do this:say "mom, i need a new bra." she cant say no if the old ones are too small.

oh, honey, there's nothing to fear! your mom doesn't bite! it's your MOM,, you can tell her anything. just say "mom, i need a new bra. when can we go shopping?" just say that, take a deep breath..wow this sounds weird when you think about it...haha just ask her like that for one! NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!! :D have fun shopping!!!!!!

maybe if you WON'T just ask then just be like "Wow, my bra is getting pretty tight!" but i would just ask because i can talk to my mom like that...but she doesn't buy my bras.

you could write her a note and leave the room when she read it so you aren't embarresed and or type her an email, also include your size so she can pick them up and buy them or just have her give you some money and she can drop you off and you can get them yourself.

I'm sure she'll understand, they grow pretty quickly for some of us. Either that or you can walk around without one, which will be very obvious if you are a C cup or larger.
