Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should write my economics senior thesis on?

I need a question to write a 10-12 senior thesis on for my AP Econ class but can't think of anything interesting. Any suggestions?

There's lots of possibilities -

* You could use what you've learned in economics to analyze a company or industry that interests you. For example, if you are concerned about the environment, analyze the solar power industry.

* You could write about alternative uses for economic tools. A good place to start here would be to read the book Freakonomics, and check out the blog (www.freakonomics.com).

* If you like history, write about a historical economic event (economic boom, panic, depression, etc). Examples: California Gold Rush, The Georgia Gold Rush that resulted in the Trail of Tears, the Dutch Tulip Mania, Great Depression, etc.
