Arrogance. People have kids to make themselves look good hence overpopulation. They push their kids into being the best without regard for how the children feel because it make them look good if their children are sucessful, cute, etc. They fear what others think of them and so they get greedy wanting to have everything and have to have the biggest house, the best car, the fanciest clothes. People are basically selfish, and I think it's getting worse. People seem to want what they want, when they want it without regard for others.

to me it begins with the greed of a few and they spread fear and confusion to sell their product,,,,,, greed is the first problem
