You have to use a PC to TV convertor or install a Video adapter that has the conversion process built into the hardware. Normally these types of adapters with have a coax, s-vdeo, or RCA video output.

Yes, of course you can fo it. Just buy a TV tuner card and hook it. But I think that is boring one, because you have to manage several cables and sometimes you need an amplified speaker to hear the audio. Best alternative is to buy a full TV.

Yes. They make adapters. You don't need a computer, but you do need a box to control the signal and the channels. I have this one: http://www.smarthome.com/7765.html (although, I got it at a substantially lower price from a store, so you might want to shop around). Works pretty well!
