Almost 18 years ago, a rookie cop in this western Albuquerque suburb was killed by order of the mayor AND police chief after he exposed massive corruption in that town...this story was featured on the old NBC series "Unsolved Mysteries";the townspeople were threatened w/ arrest if they cooperated w/ NM's Attorney General about this incident...the national media were BANNED from covering this story...and to this day the people are TERRIFIED of the police chief and mayor...

Question: what's the update regarding this incident?...

I even tried e-mailing both KRQE(ABC's Albuquerque TV station) and the Review-Journal newspaper about this, and they REFUSED to answer my e-mails...so what's REALLY going on?

You are asking about Patrolman Steven A. Sandlin. Try the site listed below. It may not give you the answers you are looking for, but it may be the best thing available.

Sorry, but this isn't Kokomo, Indiana, where to this day, it's ILLEGAL to mention Ryan White in public...

As for the Mountainair incident, even NM State Police deny that this incident ever happened...

Idiots, all!...

But relax, I'm truly on your side!

Just wait(and hope that your question doesn't get kicked off!) and see...

Good luck!

The PD chief and mayor are VERY powerful people there, and they DON'T want ANY negative publicity to ruin the town's image...

And besides, IT'S NOYB!!!...

Stick to playing Anderson Cooper!
