I need some information on FAS?

I'm working on a powerpoint for FAS and FAE. I already have alot of information on the subject...but the teacher wants us to interact with the class. I need some good discussion questions for the topic. Also I'm having a hard time answering a few questions. ANyone who could give credible answers would be helpful.

1. How many children in foster care have FAS? (preferably for Idaho..but doesnt have to be)

2. Why do woman drink during pregnancy?

3. How commen is FAS in Idaho

2. I do not think there is one reason why a woman would drink during pregnancy. One reason my teacher gave was that they heard one glass (a day, week, month...I do not remember)is good for the baby but doctors do not know how much alcohol a woman needs to drink to cause FAS. Woman need to be told that they should not drink at all because FAS or FAE may be cause by drinking even one glass in some woman. My teacher explained that everyone is different in the way they process alcohol so one woman may be fine but another may have a child with FAS even though they drank the same amount.
