I think it's always less scary to have someone you trust with you.
The one exception to this might be if Taylor seems likely to do a lot of freaking out at the new school. You'll be finding your way and making new friends, that can be hard if you have to spend all your time and energy holding someone else's hand to get them through it.
But, as long as you're both ready to go...two is always better than one.

Trust me, it's better when you and your best friend go to the same school!!! I know because this year I started high school and my best friend & I went to diffrent high schools. I gotta admit it's pretty lonely without her 'cause it's a new school and new people, you know.. well, I made new friends and all ( It took awhile tho) but still, she is my best friend and the only one i can tell my secret to and ask for advice!!
You will meet new people and make new friends but having a best friend by your side make things easier!! I wish my best friend & I go to the same school!

Well, if she plans on going there too then you guys should go together, you will feel less lonely if you are shy and it's always good to be in a strange place with someone you know. However, if you do go to a new school, you should keep your options open and don't just stick with that one friend. It's always fun to meet new people. Good luck.

Scarey is over in a couple of days, and it would be less scary with out her, but if you go with her, a side effect may be that you will cling together and not meet many others as fast. If you do go together, make it a point to split up at times and meet others.

i would assume that it would be less because at least you know a friendly face which is always a good thing. and if you guys aren't as good friends in a few years you will have other friends...
i mean make friends but at least you know you won't be absolutely alone might make it easier to adjust to the new school.

Going to a new school means new surroundings, which takes a bit of time to get used to, but if you had a your friend, it would be a lot easier.

It would be better with your friend, because you already know you would have at least one friend and then as you both make new friends then you have twice the friends

It would help, just don't let it isolate you from other students. Make an effort to meet new friends at your new school as well.
