well...it depends on what surface you'll be playing on the most....for example....there are cleats with the wider and smaller studs designed for hard, natural surfaces(for example http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=1952&pcount=&Product_Id=239419#imageClose0 ) ....there are also cleats for firm, natural surfaces, the studs are a bit larger and narrower than the hard ground cleats (for example http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=1016&pcount=&Product_Id=263799#imageClose8 ) ....and there are also cleats with interchangeable studs....these studs are larger than firm ground studs and are designed for soft, natural surfaces like soggy or wet soccer fields (for example http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=1018&pcount=&Product_Id=211322#imageClose6 ).....it depends on your preference as well....take me for example....I'm a defender so when I'm playing it's very important to have a firm grip on the ground so that I don't slip....so I mostly use cleats with interchangeable studs....cause it's difficult to deal with talented forwards...but imagine trying to deal with them while also dealing with the field.....so interchangeable studs make my job a whole lot easier.....however the majority of players think that by using this type of cleats they're more likely to get injured.....but you just have to know how to play correctly with this type of cleats.....but like I said....keep in mind what surface you'll be playing in the most and your personal preference.....

enjoy!!!

Adidas and Nike are probably the best. I generaly get Adidas. Dont get the really expensive ones, they aren't that much better, from what I can tell, and the mid-range ones do just fine for me.
