When buying clothes and makeup, some people often refer to the colours that look best on them as seasons (eg. I'm a winter, so that colour will look good on me). Where can I find some websites that help determine my season?

Icy colors like pink and blue. Black and Pure White looks good on winters. Magenta, Navy, Forest Green, etc. Siliver or White Gold Jewelry would compliment winters. You would have pink undertones to be a winter. Reds that have blue undertones.

I found a few sites that cater to that but not quite what you are asking for.

It lists shoe and fabric colors if you can pick out your own color.

This lists cosmetic colors and business opportunities

This site doesn't even list the colors but tells you shades for your seasonal pallet in writing. You would be considered a group 4 by this writen article.

I think what you really want is a color swatch where as it's like a little booket with pieces of cloth that respresents your personalized seasonal colors.

Here's some color swatches I found. You have to buy them.

What I would recommend before jumping into the color swatches is buying Caroline Jacksons "Color me Beautiful Book" or take a look at the other book titles on color.

In order to get your color analyzed you need to have colors draped yourself to see how well the color draws attention to you face. That's what color analysis is about. You want to bring the attention on your face and not on the outfit alone.

I had my colors done once by my sister and the second time I took a course on colors where I found my true seasonal colors. I would suggest that you get it done or take a course on colors.

I thought I was a summer and I found out that I am spring which made all the difference when I went clothes shopping. I still wear other colors outside my season and usually on the bottom not on the top.

I started to dye some of my clothes as well so that I would get the exact colors that suited me much more. I certainly didn't want to throw out clothes for nothing.

Another suggestion is if you don't want to buy the book maybe you can write down the titles and see if you can find them in the library and take out the book or books you find on seasonal color for free.

"Colour" was once utilized in just like the 1800s or some thing. They modified plenty of grammar due to the fact that then. I was once studying an historical word and I was once amazed at how a lot they sucked at English again then lol. But a few folks nonetheless use "color" But I spell it colour

For winter skin tone true, shades of blue, red, green would look best. Purples are fine. Pastels are good. DO NOT wear yellow, orange or brown.

it just really depends on your skin tone, if you are a pale white then you should probably look in to the more wintery tones (whites, baby blue and other pale colors that will not wash you out, this excludes yellows, cremes and beiges) a little tanner but still not bronze, you are given a little more colors to mess with. you are able to wear spring colors (baby colors and a little darker colors, your browns and grays once in a while you can wear a black.) tans can wear practically anything that pleases them, although they are better looking in loud colors (summers). all of our african american friends can wear anything.
