i'm looking for a residential summer camp, i don't care where, just under 4000 $. i need at least 2 weeks. i want dance (perferrable breakdance), academics, vocals, and/or tennis and swimming. if no other, i have to have dance

All these recommended programs are great. None of them will offer breakdancing, though. The focus of all three recommendations (above) is ballet and modern dance.

You might look at Idyllwild Summer Arts Program. It's in California. It has an excellent dance program, as well as many other studies: music, vocals, visual arts, etc. I've been there, it's an excellent program and a beautiful place to visit! Here is the link:

Also, maybe check out Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Muskegen, MI? They have two sessions which are 12 days, with like 3 days in between. I may actually be majoring in dance there this summer. Check out the website: http://www.bluelake.org/index.html

Have you looked into Interlochen National Music Camp? Located just SW of Traverse City, MI. Now, called Interlochen Arts Academy., Interlochen. MI. I was a camp nurse there for 15 summers. Many of today's stars got their start there. Check out their web site, "Interlochen Arts Academy."
