Everybody is right, get the dust out of there!
If you've got an air compressor, be careful - don't use the air hose if you don't have a water vapor filter on your compressor. You can buy compressed air, use a vaccuum, use a brush and good old elbow grease and lung capacity, but whatever you do get the dust out!
Be sure to clear out the space between all of the fins on your processor. The processor is typically toward the middle of your motherboard. The motherboard is the big circuit that everything else plugs in to.
Ideally, you want this thing to look shiny at all times, and all the fans should have no dust on them and run quietly.

Blow out the dust with a can (purchased at any office supply place). If your computer is not in a well ventilated area, I would recommend more fans and a routine "blowing of the dust" once a month.

Yep that's all correct and then MY ADVICE once the dust is OUT of there since you seem to gather alot of dust like we do at my house, get a dust cover for it. They sell clear plastic type ones or vinyl ones that you can use without having to remove it to do anything.

you need to vacume and use a soft new paint brush at the same time to remove the build up especially around the fan.
The fan could be slow causing it to overheat of which the fan in centre has a round paper lable that you can peel back and apply a few drops of oil their.
finally blow out any remaining dust.

Um, they sell compressed canned air called "Air Duster". Buy a can and take the computer outside. Use the air to remove the dust. Most office supply stores sell them.

don't vacume it, it creates static electricity that can fry the boards, spray the hole pc out with compressed air, and get as much dust off that you can
